🥑 Avocados are loaded with healthy fats, fiber & antioxidants. They go great with eggs, salads, & other protein sources (hint: see the next item on the list). Or if you’re a real avocado lover, you can eat a whole small haas avocado for just 200 calories. Oh, did you know they’re actually a fruit, not a vegetable.

🍣 Sushi is easy to find (and a solid choice) but if you want to keep your carbs lower & calories in check, try sashimi. You’ll be fuller longer too, due to its high protein & fats nutrient profile. So delicious with avocado too.

🌰 Pistachios are not nuts, they’re technically a fruit too. They’re teeming with antioxidants, fiber, healthy fats, proteins & carbohydrates…which makes them a complete meal on the go. Portion out 1-2 ounces a day, in a ziplock bag or jar, so that you’re always prepared if there’s no other good food options around.

🍷 Ok so let’s talk about balance. Let me preface by saying that wine is by no means necessary, nor should you consume it at the wrong times. The fact is, that if you’re eating clean & within your daily calories consistently – then you can absolutely have a glass or two. Choose an occasion (dinner date, family function, wedding, etc). Doing this will likely help you stay on track the rest of the time.
