Home remedies are for everything including sinus infections. Most home remedies have a foundation somewhere in history and so different civilizations have been using them for hundreds of years. Living as we do, we have gotten swayed over to the western philosophy medical care. Most herbal remedies do not have side effects and if they do they are far less than the taking of conventional medicines.

Astragalus: All the medicinal properties of the Astragalus lie in its root. When you have an infection you get physically run down and the Astragalus root is a unique remedy in the treatment of physical exhaustion. Taken as a capsule or best as a tea
Cat’s Claw: Other names include: Garabato, Saventaro, and Una De Gato. Cat’s claw is believed to work as a great “health restorative”
Licorice: Use the licorice root. You can make a tea or take as a capsule it is known to boost the fight in your immune system.
Lemon Balm: It fights off bacteria and viruses and thus is good at fighting sinus infections. Drink as a tea. It is also great for fighting bad breath.
Reishi: Common names include; Ling Chi, Ling Zhi. In traditional Chinese medicine the mushroom Reishi has been used for more than 2,000 years and is referred to as the “elixir of life.” It is known to boost energy levels.
Ephedra: Chinese medical name-Ma huang-Common name Desert tea. This herb has been used in china for over 5000 years. There are some risks to using this herb and is best if you talk to your doctor first, especially if you have hypertension.
Herbs are great because you can mix and combine and get even more benefits from the combination. Like anything else you have to experiment a bit, but with herbs you should be reading up on them to make sure you are doing now harm. Taking too much can cause problems so know the expected dose and follow it.
Like medication, more is not always good.
